This isn’t your average chocolate bunny. The Bourbon Bunny Bomb takes center stage at your Easter table — a hollow chocolate bunny filled with rich bourbon, cream liqueur, and chocolate decadence that’s ready to be cracked, sipped, or shared.
Bourbon Bunny Bomb The name says it all. We take a hollow chocolate bunny, fill it with a smooth blend of Heritage Road Bourbon and dessert liqueurs, and serve it as a dessert cocktail and centerpiece all in one. Whether you sip it through a straw or smash it open, this bombshell delivers.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Heritage Road Spirits Straight Bourbon Whiskey
0.5 oz Irish cream liqueur
0.5 oz chocolate liqueur (Godiva or Creme de cacao)
Small pinch of sea salt (optional)
Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
Optional: 0.25 oz hazelnut or marshmallow syrup
1 large hollow chocolate bunny
Optional toppings: whipped cream or marshmallows
Instructions
Freeze the bunny for at least 15-30 minutes.
Use a warm knife or spoon to carefully remove the top of the hollow chocolate bunny (usually behind the ears).
Combine bourbon, Irish cream, chocolate liqueur (and syrup if using) in a shaker with ice.
Shake until chilled and frothy.
Pour into the bunny through the opening.
Top with whipped cream, marshmellows, or a festive straw.
🍫 Why We Love It:
It’s theatrical, delicious, and just ridiculous enough to become a new tradition. Equal parts cocktail and chocolate chaos — and the bourbon makes sure it’s not just a gimmick.
